B orn and raised in the East Bay, Karen and her family have lived in Danville since 1989.  Prior to joining People & Properties Sotheby's International Realty, she was an agent with other well known real estate companies. Karen held other positions in the real estate industry involving loan origination, property management and behind-the-scene coordination.  Her skills also involved the management of her husband’s law office while raising their three children.  A proud homeowner, Karen enjoys cooking, attending a good basketball game and dining out with friends. With her children attending the schools of the San Ramon Unified School district, she has been active in the local PTA and community-based organizations.

Karen is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the California Association of Realtors, the Contra Costa Association of Realtors, the Women’s Council of Realtors, as well as a Preferred Realtor for Richmond American Homes, Inc. In addition, her affiliations with the top stagers, first-class contractors and premier lenders (including those who can handle challenging credit situations) allow her to address all of her clients’ needs.

This combination of business savvy, professionalism and in-depth knowledge of the local real estate market, acquired over the years, enables Karen to help her clients achieve their dreams and goals.  Her philosophy is simple: “Your happiness is my success.”   She understands that buying or selling real estate is one of the most important financial transactions a person can face, and she gives her clients the personal attention required from the initial meeting to the close of escrow and after.  Her mission as a Realtor® is to make the experience a simplified process for her clients.

Residential real estate sales in the East Bay and Tri-Valley communities are her passion.  Karen educates her clients in the loan pre-qualification process, and also works with seasoned and novice real estate investors seeking to acquire income-producing properties. Utilizing an extensive network, together with her knowledge of the market strategies involving a variety of sources including the Internet, the Multiple Listing Systems, Homes and Land Magazine, and various local and regional publications.  To assist her buyers, she has access to properties from Northern to Southern California that are currently available .
